Achromatic Lens, Doublets, Achromatic Lens, Achromatic Lens at guaranteed low price
Achromatic doublet lenses have significantly better optical performance than singlet lenses in visible imaging and laser beam manipulation applications. Achromatic Lenses are consist of two elements, usually of a positive low-index crown glass cemented to a negative high-index flint glass that have been corrected for chromatic aberration with respect to two selected wavelengths in the blue and red region of the spectrum. Focal length is constant at those two wavelengths and focal length shifts are virtually eliminated across the visible wavelengths. One frequent use of Achromatic Lens is to achieve diffraction limited focusing of a laser beam. Negative Achromats are typically used when there is a need to eliminate chromatic aberration. In addition to reducing chromatic aberration at the design wavelengths, spherical aberration and coma are greatly reduced. Red Optronics provides achromatic lenses consisting of two elements. These
lenses have considerably reduced not only chromatic aberration bust also
spherical aberration and coma aberration. These are designed with respect
to three wavelength 480nm, 546.1nm and 643.8nm. They are best used in
replacing singlet where improved performance is required.
Note: special size and coating are available upon request. Red Optronics offers custom manufacturing of Achromatic Lens at very competitive price. Our monthly output is 10,000pcs of lenses.
